GC '09: Gameloft gassing up Shrek Kart

Not fit to let Crash Bandicoot and Pyramid Head have all the fun, Shrek and his fairytale friends are buckling up for some kart racing of their own.
Speaking to German outlet MacNotes, Gameloft confirmed that Shrek Kart will be driving onto the App Store this September.
Based on the fun-focused kart racing formula, the game promises easy accelerometer control for steering Shrek and pals through more than a dozen tracks.
Items have a place on the raceway, though exactly what kinds of picks up will be offer is yet unknown. One of two screenshots released today show a red potion in the lower-left corner. Tapping it obvious activates it, but exactly what it does is not obvious.
Multiplayer is being promised, albeit only peer-to-peer with WiFi and Bluetooth options. Along with standard races, three multiplayer arenas support a battle mode.
