Saving Private Sheep rams into the App Store

Saving Private Sheep is out for iPhone and iPod touch today, so anyone willing to risk a download ahead of our review should pop along to iTunes now. The iPad version will follow soon.

The game costs £1.79, features over 80 levels, and supports OpenFeint. It's a simple physics based puzzler (similar to Tumble Drop) which tasks the player with helping sheep descend a precariously stacked tower. By destroying key points in the structure, you can carefully shepherd your flock to safety.

Things are spiced up with the addition of aggressive wolves, indestructible materials, and ever more complex level arrangements.
