Earlier this month, the game had a brief beta test, and Black Desert Mobile has already seen 4 million people pre-register.

Black Desert Online has been noted for its unique action RPG combat that lightly mimics fighting games. Other than that, Black Desert features your usual MMORPG trappings—fishing, crafting, the works, though it does change things up with some true-to-life features. If you’re into farming, for example, you can tame and capture wild horses to sell on the market. Pearl Abyss hopes to faithfully translate the game’s combat and layered systems to mobile while accommodating the platform’s need for simplified controls.

[read more] http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/Android/Black+Desert+Mobile/news.asp?c=76772 Sat, 24 Feb 2018 17:13:59 GMT Capture ghosts in AR with Ghostbusters World

2018 is about to get a lot more spooky as Sony unleashes legions of ghosts from the beloved Ghostbusters universe on the world. Ghostbusters World is an upcoming AR game in the spirit of Pokemon GO.

Your main mission will be to battle and capture a multitude of ghosts you may recognize from the Ghostbusters movies, TV Show, comic books, and more. The colourful series creator acrimoniously parted ways with publisher Konami immediately after Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain hit shops in 2015.

Not only that, but Metal Gear Survive appears to have been made rather hastily from components of that aforementioned masterpiece. What's more, it's nothing like the Metal Gear Solid games we know and love. Instead of a single player military stealth adventure, Metal Gear Survive is a multiplayer-focused survival game with zombies in it.

[read more] http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/Android/Metal+Gear+Solid+Touch/feature.asp?c=76765 Fri, 23 Feb 2018 16:20:00 GMT Best iOS and Android sales this week - Her Story, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, You Must Build a Boat, and more It's the beginning of the week (in case you couldn't tell already) which means it's time to take a look at those delicious, delicious sales.

A few titles from last week's sale piece are still worth snapping up, but the weekend's been good and we've got a roster of games for you to get your hands on.

10000000

Platform: iOS/Android

Price: £1.19/99c or cheaper

If you're a fan of dungeon crawling and, RPGs, and match-something puzzlers, you're going to want to add this classic to your library.

[read more] http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/Android/Her+Story/news.asp?c=76720 Fri, 23 Feb 2018 15:47:55 GMT VEmpire - The Kings of Darkness might be worth another look at its current low price VEmpire - The Kings of Darkness is an interesting one. It's a deck-building card game with a lot going for it, but it takes a good long while before you actually get to grips with everything the game is throwing at you.

Right now though, it's on sale on the App Store. Rather than £6.99 / $6.99, you can pick it up for the much more reasonable £3.99 / $3.99. Instances cropped up where I'd have to drill into a safe room and stand aimlessly for several minutes.
