Bulkypix’s latest release, RollOut, is now available via the App Store. Better still, early adopters will benefit from the launch price of 59p (99c, 79c). You might have to risk purchasing it without first reading our review, though, as this price only stands for 15 days.

In the game, you must help the hapless Wabba, a spiky black creature who resembles a buzz saw, or a demented Sonic, in motion.

The mechanics are curious, requiring the player to scroll various symbols across the screen, each of which dictates what Wabba will do (the up arrow will make him jump, the pause icon will hold him still etc), as he continues to move across the screen.

There are 50 levels to enjoy in what the developer describes as a “uniquely nervous platform game”, whilst OpenFeint provides the opportunity to brag.

Have a look at the video if you still can’t quite picture what this game is all about.
