Russian developer HeroCraft has announced that its Revival strategy game is coming out for Windows Mobile, Symbian and Palm smartphones.

Inspired by Civilization, it sees you exploring land and sea, building towns, battling foes and overseeing scientific developments and economic stability.

It's turn-based and takes place across seven planets and 27 continents, not to mention a scenario campaign with 13 missions that HeroCraft says will take more than 40 hours to play through.

We had mixed opinions about the Java version when we reviewed it last year, but the new smartphone edition sounds like it's been beefed up, so we're keen to see how it plays.
