Boasting full English voice acting with stellar performances in a variety of dialects, the game is an immersive romp through the 20th century, and here are just a few reasons why you should dive into this unique RPG.

Experience past time periods in an alternate history

With the advent of the "Storm", time began to flow backwards from the year 1999, and as the Timekeeper, it's up to you to unravel the truth behind this catastrophic phenomenon. Immune to the effects of the Storm, you scour every corner of history to gather powerful Arcanists who can help you fight the good fight and discover the truth about the Storm.

As you go back through the different eras in the timeline, you'll stumble upon a rich cast of characters that each boasts its own gorgeous character design and an authentic accent that's true to that era's dialect. All these are brought to life with fully voiced English dialogues and Live 2D visuals that offer a harmonic blend of the old and the new.

An immersive story that transcends time

As you progress through the game, you'll not only uncover the hidden secrets of the Foundation and the Manus Vindictae, but you'll also get to know the characters and their backstories, with tragically beautiful plot twists at every turn.

Adding to the immersive quality of the narrative are the superb performances by the voice cast, all with diverse accents from British to French and so much more. For instance, Regulus and Oliver Fog sport an engaging British accent, while Schneider and Pavia speak with their Italian roots intact. On the other hand, Matilda and The Knight speak in beautiful French, while Lilya and Zima have a Russian accent.

Interesting characters with lovely character art

Assembling your own team of Arcanists becomes a true thrill with the wide range of characters you can choose from within the summons pool - a talking suit of armour and a sentient apple-slash-butler included. All these are presented with aesthetics reminiscent of classic films, pop art, jazz music, and even iconic oil paintings, from the vibes of the Roaring 20s to the sensibilities of the Swinging 60s.

Of course, you'll get to enjoy all these visuals as you engage in tactical turn-based combat, with a variety of spells and incantations you can mix and match to deal the most devastating blow against your foes. You can also rearrange the cards in your deck with each turn to merge them into more powerful ones, or unleash world-ending Ultimates to defeat the most fearsome foes.

If you just can't wait to give the game a go, Reverse: 1999 is now available to download on the iOS App Store and on the Google Play Store today. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
