Gamescom '11: New wintery Resident Evil: Revelations 3DS screenshots and trailer revealed

One trailer and ten new Resident Evil: Revelations screenshots have emerged from Capcom's lair during Gamescom, revealing a wintery locale for players to survive through.
These new screens align with our hands-on impression that Revelations will follow in the footsteps of the action-oriented Resident Evil 5 game rather than its more horror-oriented predecessors.
From both the images and the video, you can spy a nifty-looking battle scene with betentacled hounds leaping out at the protagonists, and some epic-looking plane crash debris, complete with fiery lighting effects.
Caving inThe trailer reveals a little more of the gun-toting gameplay, showing us how Chris is injured whilst spelunking, and how he and partner Jessica must work together to fend off the onrushing undead canine hordes.
There’s no news yet on a release date, but we'll keep our ears close to the Gamescom conference hall ground for any juicy gossip.
