Reiner Knizia's High Society goes mobile

God bless Sir Alan Sugar. Few TV viewers know exactly what it is his company Amstrad does nowadays, but we do love the grumpy old bugger on the reality show The Apprentice. Although the same can't be said for many of the actual contestants – flinty-eyed wannabe moguls that they are.

Maybe that's what you need to become a billionaire though? If so, Impossible's upcoming mobile game Reiner Knizia's High Society should provide further evidence.

It's a strategy title offering a mixture of poker bidding and bluffing, and property acquisition. Your aim? To earn many many millions without having to take a job making tea for Sir Alan, of course.

Who's Reiner Knizia? Good question. He's a famous German board-game designer. Well, famous within the board-game industry, anyway. The mobile version of his game will let you choose from six playable characters, each with their own personality governing how riskily they play against you.

Due out later this year, the mobile game will also be multiplayer, with a pass-the-handset mode and an over-the-network online mode. Watch this space for more details.
