Doodle Jump genre -> Sonic Jump
Temple Run genre -> Sonic Dash

I smell an Angry Birds-type Sonic smartphone game round the corner...

How can there be fun to be had creeping up the leaderboards when you can pay to have a higher score? Mobile gaming leaderboards that are about the size of your wallet not your gaming skill are ridiculous - how can anyone describe that as fun?

I suspect PG gets given free premium currency for their reviews which is why they are so wildly out of sync with normal customers feelings.

I watched footage of this game and have read a a couple of reviews. Honestly, I am disappointed. I liked Sonic Jump... I may actually re-download it after this post --- the format was great for mobile: Lots of levels (with end points), missions, multiple characters, AND BOSSES!! Sonic dash really had the potential to destroy the "endless runner" bullcrap and show everyone how this genre is supposed to be executed. Instead, they fell in line with everyone else only to really shine in the graphics department.

An instant DO NOT BUY if you ask me.
Man I hate endless games. What a waste.

Internally, we call them Paymium.

@Content Chris
There needs to be a new adjective that describes these pay-to-pay games. My vote goes to premiumium - something which combines the words premium and freemium with about as much elegance as the way most of these games cram IAPs into their paid games.
