''Its a third-person shooter full of huge and very silly enemies, such as giant ants and robot spiders. Probably not worth the $39.99 asking price'''
probably not worth the price...
what kind of journalism is this ?
you are suposed to test games not speculate over games.
The Pocketgamer Vita review site gets worse and worse.
EDF has been very positively received in Japan and is a lot of crazy multipayer fun in my view.
You judge games without testing them. Even blogs are more serious.
'Pocketgamer, probably not worth bookmarking ?'
The gameplay, as well as the graphics evolves throughout the levels as you move from system to system. The developers researched each of the 8 machines to ensure the graphics look exactly as they would on each of the systems - spectrum is my favourite, using the flick screen of spectrum games as well as spectrum graphics.
Life of Pixel is absolutely amazing and a total must buy. It has levels based on eight SYSTEMS of video game past, rather than games, including Spectrum, ZX81, BBC Micro, Amstrad CPC, C64, Game Boy, NES and 2600 VCS. It's brilliant and only £1.59.
With Rock Boshers, Milk Miner and now this the service's best game so far, Playstation Mobile is definitely justifying its existence. Hopefully all PG readers will get it - the introduction alone is worth the £1.59. (It looks wonderful on the Vita's screen too!)

Quiet week but hey still plenty of quality games to complete. Loving stranger's wrath on the vita. It's the best shooter on the vita IMO.
