Seems there's some rumors doing the rounds of a last minute donation falling short. Apparently the project was $828 down with moments to go, so the devs didn't have chance to pump in a few dollars right at the end to cover the shortfall. There has been some talk alluding to the final donation falling intentionally short to 'send a message' to the devs. Perhaps PG could dig in to this - although it is complete hearsay at the moment.
It's a shame this game has once again fallen short as it looks pretty cool. I'm glad they cancelled the first Kickstarter campaign as that seemed far too ambitious. I'm surprised this restructured campaign never made it.
Must be heartbreaking for the devs to fall short by such a slim margin.
