Personally I wish developers would just give up on the freemium model all together. While there are some developers doing it right, nothing ruins a game like a pay wall. I like getting through games on skill, not my wallet.
I don't mind IAPs, for things like demos that let you open the full game, offer new content like levels or new games like the emulator collections do, but I do not like games that use pay walls to get through them. If I hit a pay wall while playing a game, I delete it then and there.
