IGN shows that COH will be released on Dec 31st. I really wanna play it again even I've done it on NDS & PSP.

The answer above is only partly correct and refers to iCloud sync. If you use iCloud backup, all your App data is stored in iCloud. When you get a new iDevice, you have the option to back up from a previous iCloud backup. If you do this, it downloads all the apps from your previousdevice from the store and restores all your save data, contacts and settings.
I went through this recently when I got a replacement iPad from Apple after my first one broke and it was pretty painless.
