@mr_bez ... hey, the file transfer feature in DiskAid is free :)
There are some other features that require a license in DiskAid, but you don't need them to access apps.

I think I paid $15 or $20 for PhoneView. But if you want a free way, you could always jailbreak your phone and use a SSH program. I used to do that, but found the free apps too tempting and decided to unjailbreak.

GREAT article! I've been using PhoneView for a while to do this, but I imagine lots of people had no idea you could save games this way. Hope this article helps a few gamers out there. Thanks for it!

Is there any cheaper (or freeware) software available to do this? $30 is a lot to back up a save game.
