The A5 is Old but still a Wohle Lot better than tegra 3! The power vr sgx 543 Dual Core GPU found in the mini is very strong compared to The Nexus 7 and kindle Fire HD: 22 Frames in the egypt HD Benchmark vs 13 Frames from tegra 3. Amazons kindle ist Totally Out of The competition with The Old power vr sgx 540 from 2010. only 7 Frames!

I use Kindle on my ipad all the time and enjoy reading books from a tablet, so kindle is not limited to Andriod, as one poster implied. People who go around calling others sheep because of the tablet they prefer really come off as sounding immature and jealous. Personally I have both a 7" Andriod tablet and a 10" iPad, but I tend to prefer the iPad because I like the apps better. Only a fool lets others tell them what tablet to use, regardless of whether you're using an Andriod or Apple tablet, if you like it, that's where you should be.

Well, the iPad may look better, but if an Android tablet comes out and looks even remotely similar to the iPad, it will be declared a rip off. It's pretty much forced to stay in the plastic design category.

But what you failed to mention is ,being open source, you can load Amazon Apps onto Android Tablets AND use Kindle For Android, to view your e-book...Nexus for the win!!! iSheep cry.
