I asked that question twice and got the following results, in order:
"I think you've already answered that question, ."
"You're kidding, right?"
I'm not sure if this matters, but my phone always corrects to "smart phone", and this picture shows a result for "smartphone". I'm not sure what the difference is in terms of voice recognition, however.

This probably has everything to do with the fact that Microsoft has recently signed a deal with Wolfram Alpha, and the fact that customers are avoiding Nokia's Windows phones like the plague. Microsoft is desperate to sell Windows phones to maintain its market monopoly position in a post PC world - you can connect the dots.....
One wonders what effect this will have on Apple's customers - after all most people who use search want unbiased answers returned, not misinformation or propaganda.
