Have to agree with aros, the difficulty curve isn't that steep and certainly not out of the ordinary for a game from the 8 bit era.
The reviewer would probably cry like a baby if he had to play megaman and should probably stick to reviewing naff IOS games.

Excellent game, shocking review. Seems written by someone who uses the "super-guide" and thinks NSMB had an appropriate level of difficulty. It's tough, as platformers should be, nowhere near like it is made out in this review. The only unfair difficulty bit is going into the final level without a fireflower as it makes it near impossible!
