I will never buy or play another Gameloft game. They are very successful and occasionally put out a good product, but they represent the worst for players in their inability to have any customer service or urgency in it.

i think that their priority is to patch their game and release games that they announced on android but they never release.
They gain a lot of money with their games and i think that they have to support them... on ics gt racing and asphalt have problems with accelerometer and they fix gt racing but not asphalt 6? WHY!?!?!?!? its the same engine and if they know what is the problem on one game they can fix that on the other...... bad games, bad support, bad company

Wow, well said everyone especially VirtualBoyFreak and gave29. For me it's not about the cost, rather its the principal. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to spend $50 or $100 on a mobile game but I am happy to spend any reasonable amount of money on quality titles. gave29 had a good point about the Kairosoft and many others. I've even purchased the same game a number of times when I've lost data like Galaxy on Fire which is worth three times what I've paid for it. They also have IAP options but the IAP's are not at all required or necessary. I've paid for Plants vs. Zombie's a few times as well, again another game with a couple of IAP options but the quality in design and game play are well worth the cost of admission. GL on the other had has destroyed creativity in exchange for greediness. I first downloaded Oregon Trail when I had my first iPhone 3G and it was one of there more expensive games in the AP store yet it was worth the price cause the game was fun and well designed at the time. Now however, the game is "freemium" and unless you purchase their outrageously priced IAP's it's almost unplayable. Same thing with Dragon Hunter 3, the first two were easily on my top 10 best mobile games list. What did they do for the third one? DESTROYED THE BRAND! I'm just glad that I'm not the only one boycotting these industry bandits. Keep it up everyone and let's support the creative innovation that still exists by continuing to purchase premium titles and leaving GL to what I hope will be a short and painful death.

This is why I like game developers such as Kairosoft. So what if their games are slightly more expensive than the 'free ones' (they sell their games generally around the £2.49 price). The good thing about this business model is its a ONE-OFF payment and you're then not restricted to what can be achieved in the game thereafter. It's alarming when a company as big as Gameloft fails to identify how damaging their IAP games are - not only to their reputation but also to their potential income in the long run. GL's current model needs changing quickly. If anyone has any comments hit me up at davidwallace29@hotmail.com

I agree with SuperAnnoyed21. I stopped buying GL games long ago, when they begun with IAP. I don't even buy premium games such as Tintin because I'm afraid that in the end they'll end up putting IAP's...

It's absolutely incredible how some corporations, much like people, don't learn from their mistakes. Despite all of the flack GameLoft (GL) has received for essentially destroying quality titles with GREEDY IPA's (some IAP's are okay and even add a little fun for those of use who are casual gamers and don't have hours to build up exp. etc.) but these guys are all about turn and burn. They try to squeeze every penny out of consumers. Alas, I'm only one man but one man who spends $1,000's a year on the AP/iTunes store and I for one will NOT download, play or purchase ANY GL games and I urge all of you out there who agree with me to follow suit. If GL is successful in profiting from this BS revenue/pricing model then all other developers will have little choice but to follow. Mark my words everyone, 90% of all future games will be IAP dependent and I know very few people want that (other than greedy, scummy, life-less developers like GL).

Too bad they screw their users if they so much as change their device or phone number.
