I've been having more luck and better entertainment value making dos games work on my iPad, and playing through full throttle on scummvm via iPad, I keep checking the AppStore looking for something good, like a port of fallout 1 or 2, or something worthwhile, and sadly being disappointed....so disappointed.. Onlive desktop.. No Onlive player app... Sad, looks like the iPad will become a hand-me-down for my 5 year old.. I'll take an transformer prime quad-core... On second thought... I'll get my 5 year old a kindle fire, I'll get me a transformer prime, and I'll send this iPad back to apple with a note detailing just where to stick it... Enjoy

Definitely looking forward to Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7, the first game is one of the best games on iOS. Also Lost Mars is looking pretty cool, Tiger Style's first game Spider - The Secret of Bryce Manor was awesome way back in 2009, it's about time they came out with a new game!

Not too sure about the rest. Most likely it won't be any of these games that will define 2012 though, I'm sure there's some pretty great stuff being worked on by developers as we speak!

Happy New PG crew. Quality best of 2011 series btw. Much better than Edge's selection imo - more diverse.

STAR COMMAND looks a v strong fit for a mobile game if they can nail the xcom combat, open-choice tech dev prog, sci-fi refs (trek!). Fingers crossed they can include everything and have some complexity under the cute pixels.

V nice to see you including TOPIA, looks like a very "flow" type of game. Good blog by Glen Corpes on the game too.

Battle Budies looks solid fun (line drawing eh?), while Tiger Style Games produced the goods with Bruce Manor and Hunters ep 2 has been a while in the works..

Still waiting for a killer multiplayer app

Lost Mars looks a lot like the ancient BBC B game Exile - caverns, jetpack, etc. If it's as good as I remember that was, it could be a winner. Would need the weird space monkeys to be truly successful tho...

Hmmm, more of the same not that it's anything bad

Lone standout for me is Star Command. Got an interesting Xcom vibe to it with some very pretty old school graphics

Will definitely check it out

(speaking of which, their website says release Holiday 2011, but no sign of it yet??)

Hmm, guess aside from Reckless Racing 2 and League of Evil 2, I don't have a whole lot to look forward to. Oh well
