Angry birds is alright as a method of passing a few minutes and may well be around for a while, but Mario it ain't and never will be. Nintendo makes the best games and smartphones games simply can't come close to the level of game design and playability that Nintendo deliver. Using a touch screen as a method of control is easily the best way to ruin a good game (GTA3). I do like iPhone games and play them regularly, but they'll never come close to replacing my 3DS. I've been playing games since 1982 (speccy) and can honestly say that the 3DS is, for me, the best games console i've ever owned......and i'm sad enough to have owned just about all of them.

...and how again did Nintendo come into this argument? All you fanboys sometimes make yourselves look stupid but you do not realise it.
Oh, and Nintendo does not make the best games, only in your tiny little Nintendo world. It didn't make Arkham City or Skyrim, so your argument is mute. Mario is a classic but that is all they got.
