Hey wepoo
We take piracy very seriously at Pocket Gamer. We don't advocate it or encourage it.
We even showed a real SMW cartridge to show that if you really must use emulators, you should simply use them to play games you already own, but on a different medium.
If we encouraged piracy you might stop buying games, and then game developers would go out of business, we'd have nothing to write about and all get fired. So it's not in our best interest to advocate it :)
Hope that clears it up. Feel free to ask anymore questions about this.

It's sad you choose to pretend to be against piracy. Just come out and say it "Pocket Gamer supports piracy".

For iPhone/iPod Touch users Snes9x EX is the best option it's free, contains no ads and works like a charm. Some of the other options mentioned in the article like Snes4iphone and Snes ADx, use the same code but the developers of these 2 emulators expect have violated the GNU General Public License, by making these apps commercial or infesting their "free" versions with horrible adverts, which is pretty shady behaviour. These emulators should be free and must not contain adverts if they use Snes9x, simple as, don't pay for these apps.
