![]() Most Android Emulators let you save games but then you can't load the save unless you buy the full version. Anyone know of a free emulator that doesn't do this?

![]() By far, the best emulator I think is Happybay.
It's a NES/SNES/MAME/MD all-in-1 game portal, with good user experience, and easy to find ROMS, not need to search and download from all the internet. You can download it from their homepage, http://happybay.mobi Joined:

![]() FPse is the best Playstation emulator there is!
I downloaded FPse two month ago and I just wanted to let everyone know that it is the best game app there is. I have placed Metal Gear Solid, Crash Bandicoot, Tekken 3 and Final Fantasy 7 on my SD drive and everything is working smooth on my HTC Sensation. I would recommend this app to everyone who loves Playstation. 2.99 is a total bargain. Takes a bit of time to get it all running, but onces setup (which is fairly easy) you will have a game console on your phone. Their latest version is going to support multicore! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.emulator.fpse Joined:

![]() @mattmayatt: Depends on how you see things. The A500's M68000, externally, had a 16bit data bus and 24bit address bus. Internally, it had 32bit registers and a 32bit ALU.

![]() The amiga 500 was 16 bit (this is the machine uae4droid emulates).
You should know that as the amiga is your 2nd all time favourite games machine. Amiga 1200 was 32 bit but android does not emulate this machine yet. Joined:

![]() Yes, nice article (except that you forgot mame emulators like Jarcade ) but wow, leaving FPSE out is horrible.
It is by FAR the best emulator out there. I have a Galaxy S OCed to 1.5Ghz and that is still not enough to make Tekken 3 run at full speed with crappy psx4droid....with FPSE...it runs at 62fps steady.....just a beautiful emulator. Oh, and dont forget SCUMMVM for truly classic games like Day of the tentacle! Joined:

![]() Yep, FPSE is the better Playstation emulator. It is more compatible with titles & has the better frame rates too.

![]() Not trying to be a fanboy as I welcome all emulators (still waiting on one for my beloved Apple IIe) but fpse is a far more compatible EMU. Certain games like FF7 will run great on psx4droid but dig deeper in to the catalog and it will start to stumble where as fpse works with *almost* all games well. The dev (schtruck) is also constantly making updates and improvements.

![]() Thanks for the tip xyz. I tested fpse too but found psx4droid worked better on my Desire HD, plus it had the added bonus for most people of now being free!
I'd still wholeheartedly recommend fpse though. Joined:

![]() You should consider FPSE instead of PSX4Droid, it has in most games smoother framerate than counterpart but less user friendly option system and worse button sensibility in my opinion. But still worth testing.
