We've been chatting to ngmoco (see part 1 of our interview with Neil Young, ngmoco's CEO). But we're not alone. Over at TouchArcade they've been chatting with the design team at ngmoco about the company's new retro-styled shooter currently in development for the iPhone.

The as-yet unnamed application is described as being a cross between the already classic XBLA/Wii/DS game Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved and the awesome BBC Micro shooter from the '80s, Thrust.

That's the kind of vector-based promise of blast-'em-up destruction that gets us all excited and giggly. Hopefully landing this side of Christmas, keep checking back for more details as they leak out. Eep!
