If you don't have enough gloomy, monochrome puzzling platformers in your life, then today could be your lucky day, with Black Chair Games announcing LAD for iOS and Android.

The game, which draws heavily on the stark visuals and gloomy atmosphere of Playdead's Limbo, sees you leading a boy through a grim, obstacle filled world. There are blocks to push, and giant spiky balls to avoid.

Alongside the dark, silhouetted lead protagonist, a second,  white character appears in some of the screens as well, but it's unclear what role he'll play in the spooky proceedings.

There's no firm release date yet, but the game promises a cryptic story, and plenty of puzzles to keep you scratching your head.

If you're interest is piqued by all this talk of moody, gloomy, block pushing action, then check out the video below to get a taste of things to come.
