There have been plenty of Flash web games with crazy physics, but it's the availability of tilt controls that really makes such games come to life.

That's certainly the case with Miniclip's latest game iStunt 2.

It's an extreme snowboarding game, that in many ways feels like Tiny Wings only that you're tilting your ragdoll snowboarder to get him to manoeuvre safely down the slopes rather than tapping the screen.

That's going to hurt

But the game quickly gets more complex than Tiny Wings as you can swipe up to jump and swipe down to crouch and avoid obstacles such as icicles and buzzsaws.

Further layering on complexity - unlike Tiny Wings' design purity, this is everything and the kitchen sink design - you can do grab tricks to gain extra points, as well as interacting with items such as air blowers and gravity switchers that enable you to make it around twisting courses.

Your measure of success is your level score, which is a combination of collecting stars, doing tricks and pulling off good landings. When you crash - and you will do as this is a rock hard game - a checkpoint system gets you going again quickly.

Currently shipping with 42 levels on two landscape themes, and with more levels promised, iStunt 2 is out now priced 99c, €0.79 or 59p for a limited time.

You can see how it plays in the following video.
