Casual developer Flashbang Studios has released its first iPhone game, iSplume, and it looks pretty nifty indeed.

It sees you flinging colourful Splumes – round balls with eyes, essentially – at the top of the screen, trying to match same-coloured ones to score points.

Flashbang boss Matthew Wegner tells us it's a physics-based Bust-a-Move style game, which sounds about right.

See, you can tilt the iPhone left and right to make the Splumes swing in that direction, opening up space for a tight shot. This, plus the cute cartoon visuals, should give it plenty of appeal. Here's a video:

Not to mention the reasonable price: £1.79. The game is actually a version of an existing web game, Splume, so the gameplay should be tried and tested. Want to give it a try? Click the 'Buy It' button below.
