Puppet Bird is the newest game from Pine Entertainment (Politaire) and it’s coming to the App Store this week.

As arcade runners go, Puppet Bird is rather charming. You control your little string-secured puppet with a wheel at the bottom of the screen and manoeuvre him through a moving obstacle course.
Obviously the penalty of failing a certain obstacle is painful death – well you make a little 'wooo' sound and drop from the screen.
Along the way you can hatch eggs and unlock new friends to play as, and attempt to earn a place atop Puppet Bird's leader board. What's so lovely about the game is its hand-crafted art. Rather than going for something pretty generic, they've built their world to look like pieces of fabric without being overly complex. Sometimes simple is better.
Puppet Bird is due to hit the App Store on August 11th and will be available on iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. We’ll let you know when it drops.
