It's time to take another look at the games on sale for iOS and Android, and what a list it is - both Reigns games have been knocked down ahead of the new entry in the series, serene puzzler Valleys Between has a minor price drop, and there's plenty of other great games on there too.

We've put the best of the best in this little list, so hit the link below and get digging to see what you can get your mitts on for less this week.

Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition

Baldur's Gate is something of a classic RPG, and the Enhanced Edition gives it a bit of pep for the mobile version.

It's all about leading a team of heroes into battle, killing monsters, scoring loot, levelling up, and generally having a right good time with your mates. Just another Friday night, then.

R.B.I Baseball 18

Batter up! This year's edition of R.B.I Baseball throws in a new Franchise Mode, letting you take on your favourite MLB team and see how you fare across multiple seasons.

There's also improved graphics across the board, a huge roster of classic players, and more baseball action than you can shake a bat at.

That might just be a trailer for the console version so please don't get mad if the game looks nothing like that on iOS

Valleys Between

  • Platform: iOS
  • Price: £1.99/$1.99

Valleys Between is a beautiful, peaceful puzzler which asks you to build up a world of hexagons by watering the ground, growing trees, and directing forest spirits around to clear paths.

It's simple in gameplay but has endless replayability, and with a bunch of different animals to unlock as you go, there's plenty of reasons to return beyond having a moment of peace in the day.

Sentinels of the Multiverse

A comic book-themed, card-based board game, Sentinels of the Multiverse tasks you with building a team of superheroes to save the world from a raft of villains.

Co-op play is the name of the game here, so while you can play the whole thing in singleplayer, there's an online co-op multiplayer experience to dig into as well. Plenty for everyone, then.

SteamWorld Heist

  • Platform: iOS
  • Price: £4.99/$4.99

Fancy a bit of turn-based sci-fi action? SteamWorld Heist is the game for you. It's all about plundering space ships for tasty loot and killing everything in your path in strategic combat. Lovely.

Not only is it a joy to play, but it's also pretty gorgeous to boot. Weird and wonderful, it's definitely worth a look at this price.

Reigns

One of the smartest games on mobile, Reigns is sort of like Tinder, but instead of trying to find love, you're making sure that a kingdom full of people isn't going to kill you for being either too awful or too great.

You're given a bunch of binary choices which affect your standing with four different parties, and you need to try and keep them all happy (but not too happy) and live as long as possible. It's hilarious, silly, and hilariously silly, and at such a low price you'd be a damned fool to miss it.

Reigns: Her Majesty

Prefer to be a queen to a king? Then Reigns: Her Majesty has you covered. Penned by the wonderful Leigh Alexander, this takes the Reigns formula and gives it a new monarch and a new kingdom to worry about.

Once again, it's all about making the right decisions to please everyone just enough that they don't murder you. Just like real life.

Old Man's Journey

A lovely, contemplative narrative-led game, Old Man's Journey wants you to feel heartache, regret, and hope all in one go as you interact with its environments to uncover more of the tale.

It's absolutely beautiful both graphically and narratively, and if you want something that will make you feel all the emotions, this is the game for you.
