Photo browsing iPhone app forChan banned for porn violations

The App Store has had a long and fractious relationship with pornography (haven't we all?).

“There are going to be some apps that we’re not going to distribute,” Steve Jobs has been quoted as saying. And top of his list? “Porn, malicious apps, apps that invade your privacy.”

Previous attempts to sneak porn into the App Store have all been short-lived and, after gaining a small degree of media attention, the provocative apps in question have all felt the painful end of Apple's ban stick.

The latest app trying to avoid the App Store's stern judgment is the seemingly innocent photo browsing application forChan, which connects to the URLs of imageboard sites and displays conveniently sized thumbnails of the sites' content.

And as if to further prove its innocence it even comes pre-loaded with a default imageboard of man’s best friend (the dog, you perverts).

Now, I don’t know who this Chan is, but clearly he has an insatiable appetite for pornography that no internet browser can satisfy.

So burning is his desire to view boobies through every medium possible that he’s persuaded Charles Rodriguez, president of iHustleApps, to include a way of turning his innocent doggy browsing application through a few simple steps into a steamy gateway for female nudity.

“It’s important to note that forChan does not contain an Easter egg. There is no code within the actual app which enables the adults only feature. We simply programmed it with dual functionality. Using forChan in this capacity is no different than visiting an adults only site with a web browser app purchased from iTunes” said Charles.

Apparently, Steve Jobs doesn’t think it’s that important because at the time of writing Apple's ban hammer has delivered swift retribution and forChan’s time in the limelight has come to an end.

Unfortunately for porn enthusiasts like Chan, it’s back to the drawing board.
