Considering the expense of the blessed devices, I'd expect almost everyone to cocoon their iPhone or iPod touch within some sort of protective covering. One acquittance even uses a sock for said purpose. A customised clean sock please note.

It comes in two versions. One for the iPod touch and one for iPhones original, 3G and 3GS. The dimensions of the two are 121mm x 73mm x 8mm for the iPod touch, and 123mm x 73mm x 15mm for the iPhone.
