As you are probably already aware, Apple will officially launch the iPhone 5 this Friday, with online pre-order stock in the US selling out in less than an hour.

One of the major differences between the latest iteration of Apple's smartphone and all previous iPhone models is the iPhone 5's new 4-inch 16:9 screen.

While this is a welcome enhancement in almost all respects, it does mean that some of the games in your iPhone library won't fill your new handset's screen.

When you boot up one of your beloved iOS classics on an iPhone 5, you see, black bars will appear at the top and bottom of the display.

Getting your fill

However, even though the iPhone 5 has yet to be released into the wild, some canny developers have already started updating their titles to ensure all 112,640 of those extra pixels are occupied with pure, unadulterated game.
