If you've bought into Nintendo's new Switch console recently, you probably don't have much spare cash for new games. In fact, that's probably the case even if you didn't buy the Switch. Times are tough!

Lucky for you we run a weekly feature whereby we bring you a list of the best deals on iOS and Android games, smartphones, handheld games, and any other bargains that stand out related to gaming on the go.

If you've found any top deals that you think should be featured gere, please do let us know in the comments below.

iOS games

We've got several strange and beautiful abstract puzzlers on offer this week - and they're all free! Also a silly platformer and a classic skateboarder for those who don't want their brains to hurt.

  • 8-bit Waterslide for free (was 99p) - download
  • Perloo for free (was 99p) - download
  • Shibuya Grandmaster for free (was 99p) - download
  • Linia for free (was £1.99) - download
  • True Skate for free (was £1.99) - download
Android games

Android gamers have their own top-notch quirky puzzlers to enjoy this week, as well some top stabby action to help you blow some steam off.

  • Hard Lines for £1.19 (was £2.39) - buy

Smartphone deals

We have an interesting smartphone deal for you this week. Amazon is getting an exclusive model of the newly announced Moto G5 (the first in the range with a metal design) with more RAM and two SIM card slots for only £10 more than the normal model.

Elsewhere, one of the cheapest 'brand new' iPhones you'll find. The iPhone 5S is quite old now, but it stands up remarkably well today, with a capable 64-bit CPU, a fingerprint sensor and a decent camera.

Handheld deals

We generally leave the accessories to our big accessory hub updates, but this seems like a timely deal for all you new Nintendo Switch owners. It's the officially endorsed carry case for around £5 to £10 less than normal.

Sticking with Switch, we have an attractive pre-order price for a revised version of one of the Wii U's better third party games.

  • Hori Nintendo Switch Tough Pouch for £14.99 (normally £20-25) - buy from Argos
  • Lego City Undercover pre-order for £36.99 (£45 elsewhere) - buy from 365games
