There's been friction between Flash creator Adobe and Apple for some time now.

Flash has always been blocked from the App Store as a game development tool, with Apple instead encouraging developers to use HTML5.

That's all about to change. Adobe has launched a neat conversion app that ports Flash creations into HTML5 through a simple drag and drop interface.

The software, named Wallaby, hasn't been endorsed by Apple. It's only in its experimental stages at the moment, but it's available for download, with Adobe hoping to iron out bugs as the community gets to grips with it.

Wallaby won't allow you to play existing Flash games on your iPhone, but it will allow game creators using Flash to publish on the App Store with greater ease.
