Rumour: iPhone 5 scheduled for summer release after all
|

New iPhone models always arrive in summer, but there's been speculation this year that iPhone 5 will be delayed until autumn.

Not so according to the ETNews.co.kr website, which also claims that service providers SK Telecom and KT would be amongst the first carriers of Apple’s new smartphone (in Korea, obviously). If true, that would mean that the UK would get the phone on the 24th June, if the prior rule of Friday launches obtains.

According to MacRumors, the fifth iteration of the smartphone is rumoured not to be making an appearance at this year's Worldwide Developers Conference in June - instead it'll gets its own dedicated media event.

At this point, there's no proof supporting either a June launch or a delay.
