iOS 9 is out, but are you getting a 'Software Update Failed' message?

There are always teething issues with these things, but many users are seeing an error message that says 'Software Updated Failed' when trying to download iOS 9 - which is out now.
Those lucky enough to actually get the update will see multitasking on iPad, improved Siri functionality, a News app, and more.
