Fruit machine game Zynga Slots has just spun onto the App Store.

Following on from the success of Poker by Zynga, the dev has decided to bring the lever-pulling, icon-matching thrill of the slot machine to iPhone and iPad.

Players will be able to work their way through a variety of worlds and themed machines, with some of the virtual one-armed bandits capable of spinning 40 lines at the same time.

In addition to chasing that every-illusive jackpot, you can earn upgrades which open up more bets and lines. You can also up the stakes - and the payout - via the game's Fever mode.
