Zooz Control turns your iPhone into a Wiimote for your PC

Experience your PC games in a completely different way

Zooz Control turns your iPhone into a Wiimote for your PC

Motion sensitive controls are the real high point of current generation gaming. We stopped marvelling at expansive 3D worlds and infinite amounts of choice in our games a good few years ago. What we really want is to take a more tangible and active role in our games, and that's what the likes of the Wii, DS and iPhone have provided.

So the dudes over at ZooZ Mobile decided to help the PC achieve a similar control system by linking your games to the iPhone's touchscreen and accelerometer. By downloading the free PC host software, and the (currently free) Zooz Control Lite app for your iPhone, you can use your handset as a very expensive, yet highly intuitive controller for your PC games.

Currently the game supports presets for Flight Sim X and Need for Speed ProStreet, but the forthcoming 'Pro' version promises unlimited game presets as well as user customisable controls. If you're a fan of either of those two games, you might want to head on over to the official site to grab the host software after taking a look at the video below of Zooz Control Lite in operation.

Also, check out the guy's keyboard. Looks a lot more expensive than mine…

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
