Simogo's spooky adventure Year Walk gets release date and free companion app

The hotly anticipated (and IGF-nominated) adventure game Year Walk, from Beat Sneak Bandit developer Simogo, will hit the App Store on February 21st.
Year Walk is an atmospheric vision quest, set in the chilly climes of 19th-century Sweden. You'll solve cryptic puzzles, unearth the secrets to a few mysteries, and get totally spooked out, man.

On the same day Year Walk goes live, Simogo will launch a free Year Walk Companion app, which serves as a handheld encyclopaedia for the myths and creatures encountered in the main game.
The Malmo-based studio says, "Year Walk Companion covers a range of forgotten beliefs and superstitions and goes deeper into the subject of year walking, as well as the supernatural beings found in the game."
Both apps are enjoyable in their own right, Simogo assures us, though they're best experienced together.
