iOS

Microsoft's My Xbox Live iPhone and iPad app has magically transformed into Xbox SmartGlass, thanks to an update that hit Apple's App Store late last night.

With the free Xbox SmartGlass app installed on your iOS device, you can interact with select Xbox 360 games. If you own the excellent Forza Horizon, for example, you can use your mobile devices and SmartGlass to view the game's map, set GPS destinations, and more.

Furthermore, you can navigate your Xbox 360 using swipes and taps of your smartphone's display. You can also pan and zoom on web pages inside Internet Explorer, and use your on-screen keyboard to type on your console.

Furthermore, you can use the Xbox SmartGlass app to browse and control your entire collection of music tracks, videos, and games, as well as mess about with your 3D avatar, and compare your achievements with your friends.

Download Xbox SmartGlass from the App Store [download] now. And if you own an Android blower, you can download it from Google Play [download].

P.S. In case you're struggling to connect your iPhone, iPad, or 'droid device to your Xbox, take a look at our 'how to' tutorials for iOS and Android.
