Official World of Warcraft app released for iPhone
|

Rumours have been abound regarding quite how and when World of Warcraft will make its way onto the iPhone. Indeed, we occasionally fondle an optimistic fantasy that we'll be playing some interpretation of the full game while on the go, but for the time being Blizzard has at least provided a portable window into its epic fantasy world.

World of Warcraft Mobile Armory is a free app intended to help you keep track of your character, plan adventures, monitor the activities of your guild, and provides full access to your in-game stats (calendar, leaderboards, info and planning tools).

At the very least your guild will feel you with them in remote spirit, even if you can't slay orcs and quest for items while on the bus, and it highlights Blizzard's interest in the iPhone as a World of Warcraft tool.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
