Gameloft's much-anticipated Unreal Engine-powered action extravaganza Wild Blood will hit the UK App Store later tonight. At midnight, to be precise.
How do we know? The same way we always know - the game has been released on the New Zealand App Store, which always gets things first. It exists in the future, or something.
We went hands-on with Wild Blood just a couple of weeks ago. In summary, we thought it was an extremely slick and immensely polished action game set in a dark fantasy world. It's more God of War than Infinity Blade thanks to its free-roaming action and fluid button-mashing combat.
This will be Gameloft's first title to run on the Unreal Engine, which powers many of the top home console action games. Think Gears of War and Batman: Arkham City.
Wild Blood will set you back £4.99 / $6.99 when it hits the UK and US App Stores, respectively, later tonight. It should be well worth staying up for. Or, you know, buying tomorrow at a decent hour.
Well maybe this will be gameloft's first console quality game for mobile, the rest of their titles gameplay and overall build are like el cheapo versions of current console games. This one looks good though and have some hopes...after playing the AAA Bastion on the iPad, I'm looking for some more console/handheld quality like games on the go.
