E3 2012: Disney Mobile announces Where's My Perry? crossover title for iOS
Swampy gets Phineas and Ferb'd
Disney has just announced a new crossover title Where's My Perry? for iOS, which combines characters from the Disney Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb with the wildly successful gameplay of Where's My Water?
Since Disney owns both intellectual properties, the tie-in seems like a logical move.
Where's My Perry? uses the same mechanics as the physics-based puzzler Where's My Water? but adds musical themes, character voices, and animated scenes from Phineas and Ferb into the mix.
Awash with PerryPerry the Platypus (a.k.a. Perry, a.k.a. Agent P) substitutes for Where's My Water?'s protagonist Swampy in this upcoming Disney physics-puzzler.
In Perry's attempts to reach the Organization Without a Cool Acronym's headquarters, he manages to get stuck. So, in order to help him out, you have to guide water through the game's various levels.
Agent P's archnemesis Dr Doofenshmirtz also features in Where's My Perry?, and he will use his endless supply of gadgets to complicate the rescue operation by turning water into ice or steam - this adds a fun challenge to the game.
Where's My Perry? will debut on the App Store later this month. We will keep you updated with pricing and a firm launch date once they are available.
