Today, Vodafone becomes the fourth UK supplier to put an iPhone (and iPhone 3GS) on its shelves, after O2, Orange and Tescos.

Like all the others, the tariffs don't drop below a minimum of 18 months, with the cheapest coming in at £40 per month with a free iPhone, 600 minutes and unlimited texts. Up it to 24 months, and the tariff comes down to £35 (though it works out cheaper to go with the two year contract).

You can also bung an extra 90 quid on top to get a 16GB iPhone 3GS, which sounds like a pretty good price for the faster phone. £179 on top of the basic contract will land you a 32GB 3GS.

Head on over to the Vodafone website now to cruise for your iPhone deal.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
