Virtual Villagers moving into the App Store
Indigenous iPhone inhabitants imminent
Virtual Villagers has gone down a storm on the mobile platform, landing a prestigious Pocket Gamer Silver Award and earning itself something of a permanent position in the O2 Top Ten Charts. And now it's coming to the iPhone.
The Swiss Family Robinson of video games requires you to guide a raft full of castaways in their new lives of self-reliance and good husbandry on a remote desert island. The game appears to have a few iPhone-centric mini-games thrown in, with all new graphics to bring the characters more in line with the handset's capabilities (see the vid for details).
Currently going through the iPhone review process, Virtual Villagers should be washing up on the App Store shores any day now, so hit the 'Track It!' button for more news as it lands.
