V4, Nexon's fantasy MMORPG, is set to receive a fairly sizeable content drop later this month, adding in all-new areas, companions, and more.

The latest explorable region is known as the Viten Highlands. There's currently a web event going on where players can unlock extra info on the area using Arcana Cards. These will be available for the next 10 days, and you'll also be able to net yourself special in-game rewards such as soul shards, imprint stones, and gold.

Beyond that, the update will introduce new conquests and add the ability for players to utilise two extra gear slots and soulstone accessory slots, as well as some additional dark imprint stone rewards. You can start testing out the new features and content when the update lands on August 25th.

V4, if you happened to miss it at launch, serves up a giant MMORPG adventure with a big focus on character customisation and exploration. As with most of these massive mobile MMOs, there's an absolute ton of stuff to get stuck into, and it can easily eat up dozens of hours of your time if you let it.

Between the likes of V4, Black Desert Mobile, Dragon Raja, EVE Echoes, and Blade & Soul: Revolution, mobile has become even busier than console when it comes to MMOs. I'm not sure how anyone finds the time to play more than one at once – frankly, the idea of letting myself get sucked into one at all still terrifies me.

But if you're braver than I, you'll find V4 available for download now as a free-to-play game from over on the App Store and Google Play.
