iOS + Android + 3DS ...

Every week, we try to give you a sneak peek at what's in store for mobile and handheld gamers over the next few days.

This time, we've got everything from classic Game Boy Color golf games to nifty science-inspired puzzlers and a bizarre game about rubbing your Vita until a girl's clothes fall off.

Obviously, many more games could appear over the next seven days. And some of the following titles might miss their release dates by a week or two.

Caveats aside, though, this list should give you an idea of where your money will be heading this week.

iOS and Android

iOS gamers should get their hands on the long-awaited sequel to Battleheart this week. Fingers crossed. Where that game was focused on quick-fire battles, 3D follow-up Battleheart Legacy promises an epic non-linear adventure focused on storytelling.

Wolf Among Us

The penultimate episode of Telltale's fairytale murder mystery The Wolf Among Us will be out on iOS this week. Part 4, In Sheep's Clothing, will see Bigby turn his attention to the Fabletown conspiracy. He'll probably make a few moral choices along the way.

Chris described Tales of the Adventure Company as a dungeon-crawling Disco Zoo, which is a combination so barmy I simply have to check it out. This cute tile-flipping roguelike will be out on Android this week, and on iOS next.

Android gamers will finally get to play Monkey Island creator Ron Gilbert's meta-musical match-three puzzler Scurvy Scallywags. It'll hit Google Play on the 28th as a free download.

iON Bond

Remember I Am Level? Creator Stew Hogarth is back with the elegant scientific puzzler iON Bond, which is about the way charged particles attract and repel. You'll definitely want to explore this one when it goes live on iOS and Android on the 29th.

And we haven't written about this yet, but Swiss Colorbind designer Daniel Lutz has a new iOS game out this week. FOLT has you unfolding squares of colour to make matches of three. It's an interesting mix, and we can't wait to play more of it this week.

Nintendo 3DS

Slim pickings in Nintendo-land this week. But, hey, you can get the classic Game Boy Color game Mario Golf in Europe for £4.49 / $4.99. You know, if Mario Golf: World Tour has too many polygons for your liking.

PS Vita

In the US, Vita gamers will get Compile Hearts card battler Monster Monpiece - that's the one where you vigorously stroke your Vita's twin touch panels to make the female character's clothes peel off. Japan!!
