Steve Demeter was one of the original gold rush developers when the App Store launched with his colourful, 'gravity-based' puzzle game Trism. It's almost 18 months since Demeter's studio Demiforce announced a sequel was in the planning, and a teaser trailer has finally appeared on YouTube.

It doesn't give much away about Trism 2, but one delicious slice of information it does reveal is that the game is set to offer an enhanced version for iPad, as well as iPhone and iPod touch.

Demeter has also promised the Trism sequel will feature a multiplayer mode, which raises the further question, "will multiplayer iPhone games inherently allow for cross platform gameplay with the iPad?"

We'll keep you posted. In the meantime, here's the teaser for Trism 2.
