First shots of iPhone game Toy Bot Diaries

Episodic action game starring an even cuter robot than WALL-E

Product: Toy Bot Diaries | Developer: IUGO | Publisher: IUGO | Genre: Action
For: iPhone

Mobile developer IUGO has revealed more details and screenshots of its debut iPhone game. It's called Toy Bot Diaries Entry 1, and is apparently almost ready for release.

The game sees you playing the titular Toy Bot, a little robot armed with a grappling hook and magnet boots, which he uses to explore a series of interesting environments.

As you may have guessed, the game makes use of a decent-sounding physics engine, as well as iPhone-friendly controls.

So you'll tilt the phone to move Toy Bot, while tapping on items makes him grab them, whereas tapping the robot himself turns his magnet boots on to hang from walls and ceilings.

IUGO plans to release Toy Bot Diaries as individual episodes on the App Store. We're looking forward to getting our thumbs on it, so click 'Track It!' for an alert when we have a review.

Meanwhile, the game will presumably be followed by IUGO's two other previously announced iPhone titles, Shaky Summit and Re-Volt.
