Tower Dwellers Gold is the new free to play version of the tower defender out now on iOS and Android

Tower Dwellers has gone free to play in a brand new Gold version that launched today on iOS and Android.
Where Tower Dwellers sets itself apart from the pack is in its blend of traditional tower defence and RTS gameplay.
Rather than attack the enemy, your towers spawn units that you can directly control and send into battle.
You'll use these units to both defend your towers and directly assault the enemy.
To create new types of units you'll have to build support buildings near a tower. These will then alter the units in some way like give them swords, bows, or magic to use.
Tower Dwellers Gold is out now in the App Store [download] and Google Play [download] for free.
