I both feel and look rather silly, but ehhhh. It's a super exciting day as To the Moon is one of my personal favourite JRPGs (beside The Witch's House). If you're not big into story-driven game and live more for the action-side of gaming, you may want to give this one a miss, otherwise check out the link below
Grab the game for £4.99/$4.99 on the App Store or for a similar price on Google Play.
Updated May 10th, 12:08 PM: Well, we said it'd be coming in May and here we are. Though To the Moon hasn't reared its head just yet, it'll apparently be coming to mobile this Friday, if not a little sooner.
Keep an eye out, and I'll be doing the same in case the game decides to drop a little early. Get your sad tissues ready on Friday 12th for this bitter-sweet adventure of love, loss, and dreams.
If you cast your mind back you might remember me talking about To the Moon last year. While we may not have a specific release date for the mobile release just yet, it should be releasing next month, fingers crossed.
To the Moon is an emotive JRPG which follows the story of two doctors whose job it is to grant people's final wishes. In this case Johnny's dying wish is to go to the moon. In order to do so, the doctors must go back in his memories in order to fulfill it.
Originally released on PC back in 2011, the game has been received overwhelmingly positively, and for good reason. In an adventure that's funny, warming, and heart breaking, it's hard not to roll through the emotional spectrum when playing.
Unlike the PC version, however, the graphics and interface will apparently be a little different, but the story will remain the same.
To the Moon is expected to be released sometime in March on iOS and Android, and will be available in 12 languages: English, Chinese (simplified & traditional), Japanese, German, French, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Latam), Spanish, and Turkish.
